December

NYC 2010
Every December we go to NYC to see the tree and act like typical tourists. We walk around for miles and see all of the sites. This year we waited too long to make reservations and every place we went into was booked! We finally stumbled into Pour House which is more like a multi-level sports bar. Fortunately for us the food was great! After eating, we continued on our journey to the tree. We passed all of the cool window displays. As we came close to the tree the crowds were intense. We took pictures by the side of the tree and promptly left. We did not even have a chance to see the ice skaters because the ice was being cleaned. In addition, we only saw the front of the tree from the street because we had no desire to smash our way through the crowds. As we were walking Mike had the great idea to go to Bryant Park. It was way more fun here, they had a cool tree in blue lights, little shops set up, and even a skating rink. All in all it was a great night.

Harran Christmas Party
We went up to Long Island for the annual Harran Christmas party. Before the party we stopped at James' dad's house. It is a long haul up to LI but luckily the weather was fine and we didn't encounter any traffic. We spent a wonderful day with family

Merry Christmas Eve!
We spend the evening before Christmas at my Mother-in-laws. She always has such a beautiful tree. We received tons of great presents. After presents, James, Patricia, and I went to see Black Swan and ate lots of treats at the movies. It was a fantastic night until James started to run a fever on our way home.

Merry Christmas!

We always spend Christmas at my parents house. This was Collin's first Christmas and it was such a joy to celebrate this day with him. We opened tons of gifts (everyone was so generous- Love you mom&dad) and ate a huge, home cooked meal (thanks mom). You may notice that there are no pictures of James :( He wasn't hiding from the camera, he was home with the flu and a fever (whomp whomp). We missed him very much!

Happy New Year 2011
We welcomed in the new year at our friends' house with food, drinks, and comfy clothes! We would not have wanted it any other way.

I'm looking forward to a happy, healthy, wealthy, and prosperous year! Follow me on my journey to health and wellness
